We all have something in this life we are tasked with fulfilling. For Sylvia, one of those things is the ministry in her heart and spirit to serve others. It's not only a passion but a true calling placed on her life.

 

As a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Masters of Science degree in Professional Counseling, Sylvia is well prepared to help clients. But if you ask her, she'll tell you that living life has been just as important a part of her training as anything else. 

 

Sylvia's professional roles have always allowed her to have up close and personal interactions with those in the community. Prior to becoming a licensed professional counselor, she worked in case manager roles for community-based organizations. Those experiences enriched her life and started her on a journey to serve others who need help navigating their emotional challenges.

While she has seen people sometimes at their most vulnerable points in life, Sylvia believes a crucial element of becoming stronger is self-care, especially mental health. Her practice includes individual, couples, grief and women's issues counseling.
